How to set the knife clearance?

In order to realise a straight cut, a correct knife clearance has to be used. When a too small or too big knife clearance is used, the consequence is as follows:

The knife clearance is depend on the cut plate, normally 8%-10% of the thickness to be cut (the tensile strength of  the plate is  450N/mm2).
